Camp 102 on NSAI Events Site
Jenna attended Songcamp 201 put on by NSAI
(Nashville Songwriters Association
International) on September 21,22, and 23 in
Nashville. Tn. It was so exciting for Jenna
and her Momanager, Darla.. We have never met so
many songwriters in our life. Jenna was
privileged to be in the company of many famous
and professional songwriters and past artists.
The Saturday night on the 22 all the students in
the camp performed songs that they had written.
It was one of the most touching events that we
have attended. Some sang and played while others
just played their cd and some had other people
sing or play their songs. There was a surprise
guest at one of her seminars. E-mail and find
out who that was. Lol Jenna also had the
privilege to sing at the Famous "Tootsies" and
also open mike and in the round at the Commadore
Lounge at the Holiday Inn Select on West End
Avenue hosted By Debbie Champion. The experience
that Jenna had surpassed many things that she
has done locally. Thank you Dave Phillips for
everything in preparation for Jenna to perform
in the round . You are great! Success is having
a backbone not a wishbone.

I had submitted Jennas song
"Not Waiting" to the Country Star
Singer/Songwriting Contest and the last two
finalists were to choose a song for the
submissions. Alisha Bond, Country Singer and
one of the finalists from Bowling Green chose
Jenna Loves Song. She sang it the final
performance night before choosing the 2007
winner of the Country Star Contest. Jenna
received a loud round of applause from the
audience and was introduced to about 500 people
as being the songwriter of "Not Waiting". One
of the DJ,s from 102 (Two Guys and a
Girl)Country Station from Lima came over and
askf for a interview with Jenna on the
following Wednesday the 21 of November. At that
time they did a live interview, and it went
beautifully. One of the first questions was" Why
didn't you sing the song yourself"? They asked
her " How did you get to know all these people",
and she said "My mom is my manager and we
network all the time". Its the truth, you have
to talk to everyone if you want to know the
ropes and what to do and where to do it. Jenna
will sing her song "Not Waiting" in December at
the 102.7 radio station live!!! Jenna and I love
Nashville and we are ready to go back in
February of 2008. Jenna will attend another
songcamp and also play out open mike and produce
some more songs
